What an incredible night! It was absolutely amazing to welcome our Open Window alumni back to the Centurion campus.

Walking through the studios, sharing stories, and seeing where your creative journeys have taken you since graduation reminded us exactly why we do what we do. You are the heartbeat of OW, and the creative industry is so much brighter with you in it.

Thank you to everyone who made the trip back home. Swipe through to see some familiar faces.

Some places exist beyond the edges of the map. Some stories are never archived. Some memories fade, fracture, or disappear entirely. Some communities remain unseen despite existing in plain sight. MAPS AND GAPS, the 2026 Third Year Photography Exhibition by the Photography students of The Open Window Institute, explores the spaces between what is documented and what is forgotten.

Through photography, installation, mixed media, and experimental processes, these emerging artists investigate absence, belonging, erasure, memory, identity, and the invisible structures that shape our world.

This exhibition invites viewers to navigate landscapes both physical and emotional, tracing the lines between presence and omission, structure and fragmentation, visibility and silence.

Because sometimes the most important stories exist in the gaps.
