We are looking for an energetic qualified and experienced candidate to join our dynamic team.
Position: Labour Relations Consultant
Job Purpose:
* To provide senior level assistance and guidance in the field of Labor Relations and to help ensure compliance with all policies and collective bargaining agreements, as well as all applicable legislations.
Duties:
* Coordinate and act as a representation for the organization on CCMA cases
* To act as a representative for the Inzuzo Joint Venture in all CCMA cases
* To handle all cases that are referred to CCMA on behalf of the company
* Advise the management of Inzuzo Joint Venture in writing on the progress of each case that is sitting in CCMA
* Collaborate with all unions in the employer’s work place in order to create and to manage any relations that can impact relations among employees
* Clarify any matter that may be of concern and hamper work performance due to the conduct of the other union members
* Communicate such matter to the site manager/ agent
* Serve as Inzuzo Joint Venture point of contact and spokesperson with the unions for day-to-day concerns which are appropriately discussed at the management level.
* General Employment matters
* Consult with Managers, and Supervisors regarding the rights and responsibilities of management and employees with respect to discipline and other personnel issues in order to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and policies.
* Determines the appropriateness of proposed disciplinary action to address employee misconduct, and oversees the disciplinary process to ensure compliance with polices
* Stakeholder relations
* Serves as the primary contact to respond to questions from staff and management.
Requirements:
* Grade 12
* Degree in Law or HR or NQF Equivalent
* 5 years Human Resources management experience of which 3 years were in a Labor Relations or similar environment.
