**Walk-in Applications For 2022**
Receive our humble greetings from the revolutionary vanguard student movement in occupied Azania, PASMA.
Seeing the post that was drafted and sent from the personal account of the Secretary General-elect of the ISRC of the UFS, we find it fit to state that we distance ourselves from any system or process that secludes the marginalised populace as supported by the ISRC-elect.
On the post at hand, the SG-elect stated that there will be no walk-in applications next year. It is our understanding that the ISRC should and must be advocating for the betterment of our students and standing for what will benefit our people, this statement as released is the absolute opposite of that, which leads us to ask ourselves if really this is what they will be doing when they are in office? To take what the management says as it is, are they representing the management or the students?
We will be starting with engagements with the management and the captured-ISRC incoming on relinquishing the stance they have took for a better resolution that serves the students and our brothers and sisters who are awaiting their matric results.
We refuse to accept that there should be no walk-ins with the strong belief that education is a necessity to better our lives, our families and our communities; the decision taken by the UFS and endorsed by the ISRC-elect is selfish to its core.
End.
Released on behalf of PASMA UFS Qwaqwa Branch.
