Lucky Country Bash

Mike Todd, Conservatives Abroad Australasia Coordinator organised yesterday an event in Sydney of members and supporters to meet Conservatives Abroad Chairman Heather Harper MBE. Apart from New South Wales attendees, Conservatives Abroad Representatives from Canberra and Melbourne flew in who alongside representatives of the Australian Liberal Party helped to make it a great evening.

Heather reinforced at the event that “expat voters are valued stakeholders and not afterthoughts“, a message that was warmly welcomed.

We can't wait to welcome Tribhangi for their UK tour which starts at Solihull Core Theatre on 24 March, followed by Birmingham Rep on 28 March and Northern Ballet Leeds on 29 March. Masterfully blending the strength and energy of African dance with the grace and precision of classical Indian Bharatanatyam, their last UK tour left audiences awestruck.

• secure real funding for Liden Library & Community Hub
• protect green spaces while backing jobs on brownfield land
• deliver safer streets via Neighbourhood Watch
• offer free cyber & AI skills for young people
• stand up for SEND families, pensioners and fair PIP
• speak up nationally on borders and UK defence
This May 2026 election isn’t about shouting. It’s about who shows up and delivers.

As your Borough Council, Parish candidate for May 2026 with good experience as a councillor that works for the British community & working together to support all residents, colleagues and wider teams I continue to action & raise with Labour-run SBC:

The Swindon, UK 🇬🇧 community truly deserves public assets that focus on serving people, rather than just more flats. Planning for the future of the British way of life is incredibly important, and it's essential to be cautious with taxpayer money. Councillor Bazil Solomon, the CFoSA, and The South African Association all support protecting our vital British public infrastructure. Together with his family he has been alongside Neil, Craig, and many others over the years supporting Save the Oasis. He & his family used to use the wonderful Oasis for family swimming and concert entertainment. He wants to thank everyone who contributed funds to keep this important conversation going and hopes now, it’s time for Seven Capital, Swindon Borough Council, to come together with campaigners and find a workable compromise.
