Anthony Aston Players The Anthony Aston Players is a service organization founded to support the University Theater. We meet Mondays at 4pm in the Ring Theatre!

AAP is a service organization founded to support the University Theatre, which we do in a variety of ways - such as helping at work calls, organizing weekly meetings, helping with publicity, selling concessions, organizing the annual banquet, and being regularly involved in every aspect of our theatre's productions. One of the most important ways in which we serve the theatre is being a social org

anization that welcomes all those interested in theatre - members or not. We have a theme house at 109 Rosedale Circle, and we host a variety of events, such as cast parties, tailgates, and cookouts throughout the year. Everything we do is open to everyone, and we welcome all who have even the faintest interest in the arts to help in our efforts of supporting and expanding our artistic footprint here at Wake. We have a weekly meeting at 4pm on Mondays in the Ring Theatre of Scales Fine Arts Center, and we welcome anyone and everyone! For more information, visit our website:

Meet your PRESIDENT!!!

Hi!! I’m Carly, and I’m the current president of AAP! I’m super excited for the upcoming school year! I mainly work in production aspects of theatre, though I’ve been on stage a few times at Wake. I spent this summer in NYC and France (both have been Amazing, and I’ll tell anyone and everyone all about it), but I’m super excited to be back in Winston-Salem so so soon! Let’s see… important facts… I’m a senior (scary!), double majoring in politics and theatre, and I love going on walks and drinking/making coffee!! See y’all soon!!

Meet your Vice President!!

Hello to all you lovely, gorgeous people! My name is Callie and I am absolutely thrilled to be Vice President of AAP this year!!!! I’m a senior from Memphis, TN studying Theatre and English. In the wonderful world of theater, I love all things backstage and production, but especially stage management and sound. I am also a very proud Shop Rat (everyone sign up, it’s so awesome to work for Thomas and Sydney in the scene shop) and love doing special effects makeup (the more fake blood the better!!). Outside of Lower Scales, you will find me singing in the Chamber Choir, going on long walks/hikes, reading, watching films, or volunteering with APO. My favorite part about being in AAP is the work calls (have you considered the role) which are a great way to make friends, help with the show, and learn new skills - close second place to my beloved Haunted Tunnels, THE Halloween event of WFU. If anyone wants to hang out, either an old friend catching up or a newer member of the flock, just let me know and we’ll make something happen! I’m THE MOST excited I’ve ever been for the school year to get started and first AAP meeting of the year can’t come fast enough :)
