It is fantastic to see Luke finding his rhythm shout-out to Luke Solomons for his resilient performance at the Level 3 Regional Gala. For any athlete, the road isn’t always a straight line; there are seasons of tough training, personal challenges, and heavy competition. Luke has faced those "ups and downs" head-on, and this gala proved that he is officially back in the game.
Despite the fierce competition in the Men's 16&U category, Luke showed incredible mental toughness by focusing on his own lane and delivering a clean sweep of Personal Bests (PBs).
Gala Highlights:
Luke’s return to form was marked by consistency across every stroke:
• Sprint Speed: Solid improvements in the 50m Freestyle (27.84) and the 50m Butterfly (30.40), shaving nearly a full second off his Fly time.
• The Grind: Strong PB performances in the 100m Free and 200m Free, proving his endurance is returning.
• Technical Growth: Notable time drops in the 50m Breaststroke (1.33s improvement) and the 200m IM, showing that his "smart work" in training is paying dividends.
Luke, your Quest family is incredibly proud of the grit you’ve shown. It’s not just about the times on the board; it’s about the dedication it took to push through the hard times to get back to this level. You’ve come through it all with your head held high.
Welcome back, Luke—this is just the beginning of a great new chapter! 🏊‍♂️🔥💪

: Emily Ackerman 🌟
A massive congratulations to Emily Ackerman for an outstanding showing at the recent Regional Gala! Emily’s results are a textbook example of what happens when talent meets relentless consistency.
What makes Emily’s success so impressive is her year-round dedication. Whether it was the early, cold mornings during the winter training block or the high-intensity sessions of summer, Emily has put in the "smart work" required to compete at an elite level. Her focus on technical precision and her disciplined approach to training have truly set her apart.
Regional Gala Highlights:
Emily’s performance was headlined by a string of Personal Bests (PBs) across multiple disciplines, showing her incredible versatility as a swimmer:
• 200m Individual Medley: A massive breakthrough! Emily dropped her time significantly from prelims to finals, clocking a superb 2:48.92 and securing a 5th place finish.
• 100m Butterfly: Another huge gain, smashing her previous best with a 6.06-second improvement.
• 100m Backstroke: Continued her momentum with a solid 3.54-second PB.
• 50m Freestyle: Proved her speed in the sprint with another PB of 33.33.
Emily, your Quest family is incredibly proud of your progress. Your ability to show up and give your best in every season is paying off, and we can’t wait to see what you achieve next!
