Africa University recently joined fellow students from institutions across Manicaland Province at the Fellowship of Christian Union (FOCUS) Eastern Regional Mid-Year Conference in Mutare. Represented by students from seven countries, Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, Angola, DRC, and Zimbabwe, our community once again brought to life the University’s pan-African mission, where diversity is purposefully lived everyday.
Beyond the worship and Bible study sessions, shared meals, cultural showcases, and meaningful conversations transformed the gathering into a dynamic space for intercultural exchange—strengthening communication, empathy, and lifelong connections.
Our students proudly secured second place in both the soccer and Bible quiz competitions, reflecting Africa University’s strong ethos of discipline, teamwork, and intellectual excellence. This experience reaffirmed what Africa University stands for: a holistic education that goes beyond the classroom—where faith, leadership, service, and global citizenship converge.
