This is Winky D's brother, Trevor Chirumiko popularly known as Layaan. He is part of the executive of Vigilance Music responsible for all aspects of the band related to sound
Layaan is a self taught music producer. He started music production in 2006, 2 years after the release of Winky's first commercial song "ndiri rasta" off the Luckspin riddim produced at Blacklab records
After mastering his craft, Layaan would go on to produce most of Winky D's hits from around 2009 to 2014 . In simple terms, he was the Oskid of Vigilance before Oskid showed up (though ofcourse Winky was generally working with various producers during that period ).
In 2011 ,Winky D's album IGO FIGO, largely produced by Layaan, became the first Zimdancehall album to win an award for "outstanding album" at the NAMA awards . This album included hits like 👇👇

The riddim on the songs "Buss di shot" and "Controversy" was made by the legendary producer and beat maker, Major "Mockery" Kadzinga. Tocky Vibes' first hit song is on this riddim, it's titled "Tirikumhanya". As i understand it, Tocky was at the time signed under Vigilance Music, i stand to be corrected!
Just like Winky D, Layaan has been a Dj, TV presenter and musician . In his journey as an musician, he did various collaborations with Winky D. One such collaboration is a track titled "Friends for Life" which also features Ninja Lipsy, this song made rounds on Power FM.
Layaan was born on the 17th of April 1988 and is the last born in a family of 6. He says his biggest influence is his big brother, Winky D.
