GEMS Awareness Day 2026 marked a significant moment for our global education community, bringing together our newest colleagues as they begin their journey with GEMS. It was a celebration of the scale, diversity and shared values that unite us and a meaningful welcome to the educators who will help shape the future of every child.

Ultimately, it is our people who make GEMS a family. Their passion, commitment and care are at the heart of everything we do. As we celebrate the Year of the Family, we are reminded that family comes first: supporting one another, celebrating our shared achievements and creating a community where everyone feels they belong.

A particularly powerful moment came when our Chairman and Founder, Sunny Varkey, called on GEMS teachers to stand and give a one-minute applause in recognition of the leadership of the UAE, a heartfelt expression of gratitude, respect and pride for the country we are privileged to call home.

Our strength is in our people, and in what we achieve when we come together as one GEMS family.

شكّلت فعالية GEMS Awareness Day محطة مهمة لمجتمع جيمس التعليمي العالمي، حيث جمعت زملاءنا الجدد مع انطلاق مسيرتهم في جيمس، في احتفاء يجسّد حضور مجموعتنا العالمي وتنوعها وقيمها المشتركة، وترحيب بالمعلمين الذين سيكون لهم دور أساسي في رسم ملامح مستقبل كل طفل.

ويبقى أفراد مجتمعنا جوهر عائلة جيمس وأساس نجاحها، بما يحملونه من شغف والتزام واهتمام ينعكس في كل ما نقوم به. ومع احتفائنا بعام الأسرة، نؤكد من جديد أن العائلة أولاً؛ من خلال دعم بعضنا، والاحتفاء بإنجازاتنا المشتركة، وبناء مجتمع يشعر فيه الجميع بالانتماء.

ومن أبرز اللحظات المؤثرة خلال الفعالية، دعوة صني فاركي، مؤسس ورئيس مجلس إدارة جيمس للتعليم، معلمي جيمس إلى الوقوف والتصفيق لمدة دقيقة تقديراً لقيادة دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، في لفتة عبّرت عن الامتنان والاحترام والفخر بالدولة التي نعتز بأن تكون وطناً لنا.

ولا تكمن قوتنا في اتساع حضورنا أو تنوعنا فحسب، بل في كوادرنا، وفيما نستطيع تحقيقه عندما نجتمع معاً كعائلة جيمس.

What an eventful and memorable day at GEMS Awareness Day! ✨

It was truly amazing and such a lovely, bright start to the new academic year. It also brought together our new staff and provided a wonderful opportunity for them to connect, collaborate and learn from one another.

It was inspiring to hear all about the GEMS journey and for them to be able to see the vision of the Group and the values that continue to shape our wider community.

We are one community, one GEMS family. 💙

It was a real pleasure to welcome our new teachers through GEMS Awareness Day, and we look forward to an incredible year of learning, growth and togetherness ahead! 🌟

Join us for our Therapy Centre Fair on Friday, 4th September, from 8:15–11:00 AM at GEMS Cambridge International School.

It will be a morning dedicated to exploring in-school therapy services and discovering the right support for your child.

We’ll have a range of external therapy providers available to discuss their services, packages, and prices, helping you find the support that best meets your child’s needs.

✨ Welcome Back, Gems CIA Team! ✨

It’s fantastic to welcome all of our staff back to GEMS CIA as we kick off our Induction Week! 🎓

Over the coming days, we’ll be taking part in many different educational training sessions, sharing ideas, developing our practice, and getting our classrooms ready to welcome our students back next week. 📚🏫

Most importantly, it’s amazing to be back together as one team, united by a shared goal and common values — making sure GEMS CIA is the place to be for an incredible academic year ahead! 🌟

Outstanding A-level Results!
We are delighted to celebrate outstanding A-level success among our Sixth Formers. We are immensely proud to share that:
✨ 34.2% of all entries achieved A*–A
✨ 63.8% of grades awarded at A*–B
✨ 84% of grades awarded at A*–B
✨ 87.9% of grades awarded at A*–C
✨ 35 students achieved a clean sweep of A* and A grades, representing 34.2% of entries
✨ In Mathematics, 68 students achieved A*–A grades (45.6% of entries)
✨ 99% pass rate
Whether our graduates are progressing to prestigious Russell Group universities, leading international institutions, or specialist pathways aligned to their future ambitions, we could not be prouder of all they have achieved.
Together, we celebrate this success and look forward to building on this legacy of excellence in the years ahead.
