استقبلت جامعة العين في مقرها بأبوظبي وفداً من سفارة جمهورية أوزبكستان، لبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي مع المؤسسات التعليمية في أوزبكستان، وفتح آفاق جديدة للتواصل وتبادل الخبرات في مجالات التعليم العالي.
وتناول اللقاء أبرز التطورات في قطاع التعليم العالي، وإمكانية بناء شراكات مستقبلية تشمل التبادل الطلابي والأكاديمي، وتنظيم فعاليات علمية وثقافية مشتركة، بما يعزز التعاون المعرفي والثقافي بين الجانبين.
وضم الوفد سعادة أليشر سالوموف، مستشار وزير البيئة في جمهورية أوزبكستان، وسعادة جاكونجير زايتوف، نائب السفير والقائم بالأعمال، والسيد سردور كريمجانوف، السكرتير الأول للشؤون الاقتصادية، وكان في استقبالهم الدكتور نور الدين عطاطرة، نائب رئيس مجلس أمناء جامعة العين، والأستاذ الدكتور عامر قاسم، نائب رئيس الجامعة.
Al Ain University welcomed a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan at its Abu Dhabi campus to discuss ways to enhance academic cooperation with educational institutions in Uzbekistan and open new horizons for communication and the exchange of expertise in higher education.
The meeting highlighted key developments in the higher education sector and explored the possibility of building future partnerships, including student and academic exchange, as well as organizing joint scientific and cultural events to strengthen knowledge and cultural cooperation between both sides.
The delegation included H.E. Alisher Salomov, Advisor to the Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Uzbekistan; H.E. Mr. Jakhongir Xaitov, Deputy Head of Mission (Charge Affaires), and Mr. Sardor Karimjanov, First Secretary for Economic Affairs. They were received by Dr. Noor Al Deen Atatreh, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al Ain University, and Prof. Amer Qasem, Vice President of the University.
