RAK Medical and Health Sciences University is a comprehensive Health Sciences University established in 2006 and owned by the Government of Ras Al Khaimah. With the support and guidance from His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) and Ministry of Education, Higher Education Affairs, RAKMHSU has grown from strength to strength in the last 14 years with more than 2152 graduates. RAKMHSU has become a place of not only academic reputation but also of cultural integration. In the near future, the University is planning to start MBA in Health Care Management and Medical Tourism. In addition to the onsite teaching, the online teaching will be also utilized. In addition, several short term courses in Ethics, Clinical research, Epidemiology etc. RAKMHSU is surely and steadily walking in the path of excellence becoming the most favored destination for the students in the Middle East.

RAK Medical & Health Sciences University marked World Mental Health Day with an engaging event featuring interactive activities, games, and educational materials.

The event opened with an address by the University President, who emphasized mental health as a priority, followed by an insightful panel discussion on mental health awareness, available services, early recognition, and practical support.

Students also shared their personal experiences with mental health, highlighting the importance of listening, understanding, and creating a supportive university community.

Special thanks to the Social Support Center at Ras Al Khaimah Police General Headquarters, Emirates Health Services, and Kuwait Hospital in Sharjah for their valuable participation and contributions.

We also thank the psychologists and mental health professionals from the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, Higher Colleges of Technology, and RAK Academy schools for attending and supporting this shared commitment to mental well-being.

جامعة رأس الخيمة للطب والعلوم الصحية توقّع اتفاقية تعاون مع مؤسسة الشيخ سعود بن صقر التعليمية الخيرية 🤝

استقبل الأستاذ الدكتور إسماعيل مطالقة، رئيس الجامعة، سعادة الأستاذة سمية عبدالله بن حارب السويدي، رئيسة مؤسسة الشيخ سعود بن صقر التعليمية الخيرية، والوفد المرافق لها، حيث وقّع الجانبان اتفاقية تعاون لتعزيز الشراكة الأكاديمية والمجتمعية في إمارة رأس الخيمة.

وتشمل الاتفاقية التعاون في البحث العلمي، وتبادل الخبرات والأنشطة، وتطوير مبادرات تعليمية ومجتمعية مشتركة تخدم الطلبة والمجتمع.

واستعرض رئيس الجامعة مسيرة تطورها وبرامجها الأكاديمية الثلاثين في مختلف التخصصات الصحية، فيما قدّمت سعادة رئيسة المؤسسة لمحة عن مبادراتها في دعم الطلبة من الأسر محدودة الدخل والأيتام وأصحاب الهمم، ورعاية الموهوبين عبر أكاديمية رأس الخيمة للموهوبين.

واختُتمت الزيارة بجولة في مرافق الجامعة شملت مركز الإبداع، ومختبر المهارات السريرية، والمختبرات البحثية.
