This center of excellence aims at advancing the surgical and medical professional education. The CTC and SSI is a state of the art, surgical and educational training facility that will revolutionize Health Care Professional training and development in the Middle East. Another Successful Surgical Training Program at CSTC!

We were pleased to host the practical training component of **Optimizing Outcomes in Spinal Access Surgery**, organized in collaboration with **Johnson & Johnson Institute** on 7–8 October 2026.

The program brought together specialist expertise and hands-on learning in spine surgery, focusing on bleeding management, hemostatic techniques, and advanced surgical closure.

Our thanks to the faculty, participants, and Johnson & Johnson Institute for contributing to this valuable educational experience.

This two-day course is designed for gynecologists, residents and trainees who want to advance their practical skills in operative hysteroscopy, intrauterine techniques and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures.

للعام العاشر على التوالي، جامعة الشارقة الأولى على مستوى الدولة في تصنيف «يو آي جرين متريك» للاستدامة 2026.
حافظت الجامعة على المرتبة 38 عالميًا من بين 2,016 جامعة من 110 دول، وتصدرت جامعات الخليج والعالم العربي.
نتيجة تعكس نهجًا يجعل الاستدامة سلوكًا يوميًا داخل الحرم الجامعي، انسجامًا مع رؤية إمارة الشارقة في حماية البيئة وصون مواردها.

For the 10th consecutive year, the University of Sharjah has ranked first in the UAE in the UI Green Metric Sustainable University Rankings 2026.
The University maintained its 38th place global ranking among 2,016 universities representing 110 countries and ranked first among universities in the GCC and the Arab world.

Developing laparoscopic colorectal skills requires more than observation.

The Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery Workshop at CSTC is designed to support residents, registrars, junior surgeons and colorectal surgeons through a structured program combining video-based learning, Dry Lab practice and Live Tissue sessions.

The workshop focuses on essential operative steps in right hemicolectomy, sigmoid colectomy, anterior resection and anastomosis techniques.
