Durante el mes de Abril de 2026, Patricio Plaza realizó la residencia de NEF Animation en la Abadía de Fontevraud (Loire, Francia), poseedora de una historia milenaria, donde estuvo avanzando en la escritura y el desarrollo visual del proyecto Diarios Negros, largometraje de animación inspirado en la vida del independentista irlandés Roger Casement, que trabaja sobre intervención del archivo colonial europeo.
Allí compartió la estancia con realizadoras de otros proyectos, intercambiando experiencias y saberes.

During April 2026, Patricio Plaza took part in the NEF Animation residency at the Fontevraud Abbey (Loire, France), a place with more than a thousand years of history, where he continued the writing and visual development of Black Diaries, an animated feature film inspired by the life of Irish independence activist Roger Casement, while also exploring the visual intervention of the European colonial archive.
During the residency, he shared the experience with filmmakers developing other projects, exchanging ideas, knowledge and creative processes.
