New week, new study year, new StV! 🎉

We - Cathi (MA violin and BA IGP violin), Fiona (BA violoncello and BA IGP violoncello) and Uliana (BA viola) - are your new StV! For the next two years we will be your representatives at university. We are happy to stand up for your rights and hopefully make your studies a little easier and fun.

If you have any wishes/complains/questions or just need help, please feel free to contact as anytime. We are here for you! ❤️

👋🏻 GOOD BYE MARLIES & SOPHIE - after two years of being student representatives of string and guitar players at KUG, we want to officially say thank you and good bye.

During the last two years, we had the incredible opportunity to dive into the big organisation of our university and get to know our ÖH-Kunstuniversität Graz a bit better. Now we want to look back at all the fantastic projects and events we did for and with you:

This is what we did for you:
• We had constructive discussion with teachers, professors, rectors and other leading parties of KUG
• We represented all of you in the Senat's meetings
• We stood up for your interests in the official meetings of institute 3 💪🏻
• We organised a bus to Oberschützen during the orchestra week 🚌
• We will, from this semester onwards, represent all string players in the newly founded Orchesterbeirat, where we will discuss all the stuff concerning orchestra projects at KUG 🎻

Our legendary parties and events with you:
• Our multiple Stammtische at our favourite location 🌱
• Street music for the Ukraine 🇺🇦
• A chamber music concert at Salon Erfurt with our friends of and Studienvertretung Klavier
• Hiking day to the Schöckl ⛰️
• A physiotherapy workshop with .oberegger and the 🤸🏻‍♀️

What will be new from this semester:
• We bought MERCH!!! Come to our next Stammtisch and get yourself a bag and stickers with our new StV Logo (cheers to Thomas Kálmán Széll for helping us with that)
• We have sports equipment for you - no matter if you need a yoga mat, a spike ball set or a badminton rack, just come by and borrow it for the day 🏸
• We have a new ÖH room at Brandhofgasse - come and get yourself a free coffee and cookies at room 2.71 ☕️🍪

At the beginning still the six of us, at the end only us three, loved being your representatives. We tried our best to fight for your dreams and wishes and make our institute a better place for you students. Now it’s time to say "tschüss und baba" and welcome our new team. We wish you all the best for the future. You are the best! ❤️

HOW TO KEEP UP A GOOD ENVIRONMENT AT INSTITUT 3 🤍🌱 | Part 3

Concerning keys 🗝️

• PLEASE always bring back the key if you’ve finished practicing or leave the building for a break (don’t leave the keys in an unlocked room or take the keys home with you)

• PLEASE always rebook the key on your name if you get a new room - this is very important cause if something happens in the room (breaking of a window or radiator,…) it is the fault of the person who’s name is booked with that room, so then this person has to pay 😢

• if the Portier isn’t here, PLEASE put the keys in the key box 📦

PLEASE take these rules seriously cause breaking them could lead to enormous difficulties, like being banned from practicing for a week (this was already implemented at Institut 2 - we don’t want to have that 😇)

Thanks you for keeping everything organised and keeping our Portiers in a good mood 😎

Right now it is very common that the heaters are set on the very maximum (5). The heat is neither good for the pianos in the room nor for your own instrument.
Please set it to a medium: between 1-2-3 and open the window if you're in need of air 💨
