ioud – The Institute of Urban Design is part of the department of Architecture of the University of Innsbruck.

Since 2010, Peter Trummer is the head of the Institute, which commits itself towards a disciplinary approach to urban design.

“The main focus of the design process is to reallocate the private open-air parking lots which create space for pedestrians within the city of Los Angeles and redesign these areas as a public plaza for recreational usage.”
