⛑ What do we protect when we cannot protect everything?
🔥 What do we save when crises force decisions under pressure, with limited information and conflicting values?

The Alumni-Club of the Universität für Weiterbildung Krems invites you to an online lecture by Assoz. Prof. Dr. Anna Kaiser, Head of the Center for Cultural Property Protection.
In her talk “Priorities Under Pressure: Risk, Values and Decision-Making in Complex Situations”, she explores how crises make priorities visible – and how decisions on the protection and safeguarding of cultural heritage must be made when risks, values and operational constraints collide.

This week, our team is spending inspiring days at , Hungary, as part of the INACO Project, working together with our international partners on new tools and modern training formats for protecting cultural and natural heritage.

While exploring beautiful sites around the region and learning more about the different climate‑related risks they are exposed to, we are also testing innovative risk assessment approaches and exchanging ideas with experts from research, public administration, and heritage management.

We’re excited to share a few impressions - more to come soon! 🌊📸
