Europe is made of so many languages, cultures, histories, and stories.
And so is the Church in Europe.
Yet, look at us…
We are singing together.
We are praising the Lord together.
Not because we are perfect Christians.
Not because we have no differences, no wounds, no shortcomings, no limitations.
But because, despite all that makes us different, we recognize something greater:
We are part of one Body — the Body of Christ.
And so, with all our differences, with our wounds and our imperfections, we come together and ask the Holy Spirit:
Help us to walk together.
Help us to become one family.
Thank you, Andreas Gassner (.gassner.165) , Cathedral Choir Director of for guiding us into this beautiful experience.
Different notes. Different tones.
Higher voices and lower voices.
The beautiful voices… and those of us who sing a little off-key.
But here, it is not about who sings best.
It is not a personal performance.
It is about listening to one another, finding our place, and becoming part of something greater than ourselves.
A symphony of different voices, becoming one prayer.
And perhaps this is what synodality looks like:
different voices, different stories, different notes —
but one Body, one Spirit, one journey.
