🎈As part of a course on "Science Communication", students learned about various theoretical models of science communication, as well as linguistic and multimodal methods of analysing popular science discourse. The coursework also included a practical task: students were asked to research and write a popular science article based on the work of one of the linguists in our Department.

🎈Sarah's article is based on Dr. habil. Rebekah Wegener's research on reader immersion in fantasy novels, implementing eye-tracking methods.
