Absence, war, jealousy, rage, sacrifice, revenge: even though “Agamemnon” was written by Seneca about two thousand years ago, its themes are eerily relevant today. Our composition student has turned this drama, which tells the story of king Agamemnon who returns from the Trojan War, into a new five-act-opera. After working on the piece for two years, our team will bring it to life in the coming days at Max Schlereth Saal. Come and see for yourself what they’ve created together 🎭

Through our Gender Institute and the lecture series GENDER | DIVERSITY | ARTS, we explore questions of q***rness, diversity, inequality, and representation in the arts and beyond.

The lecture series is part of the supplementary program Gender, Diversity, Arts which is open to all students.
