On March 24, after four short impulse talks from fields such as art, cultural history, geology, philosophy, and literary studies, the group shared insights into their joint research project Unearthing Legends.
Bringing together artists, scholars, and curators, the project explored how humans have lived with the Earth over time — and how we might respond to environmental change, shifting populations, and species loss today. Myths play a key role here, shaping how we understand abundance, scarcity, and uncertainty 🌍📖
The research focused on Mt. Olympus (Greece) and Mt. Untersberg (Austria) — two geologically dynamic landscapes with rich mythological histories ⛰️✨
Am 24. März gab das Team nach vier kurzen Impulsvorträgen aus Kunst, Geologie und Geisteswissenschaften Einblick in sein gemeinsames Forschungsprojekt Unearthing Legends.
Das Projekt untersucht, wie Menschen die Erde bewohnen und auf Umweltveränderungen reagieren – im Spannungsfeld von Mythos, Natur und Wandel, mit Fokus auf den Untersberg und den Olymp 🌿
