🥂That's a wrap!🥂 The first ITI Viennese Ball in the United States was a huge success with more than 200 attendees, including our founding and current presidents, about 30 alumni, and 13 countries represented. It was a night full of waltzes, the Fledermaus Quadrille and Austrian goulash, which captured the spirit and joy of the ITI as a microcosm of the universal Catholic Church.

✨To our musicians, the Knights of Columbus, alumni, friends and the Denver Catholic community, thank you for helping to make it a beautiful event!✨

ITI receives two relics of St Josaphat Kuntsevych, OSBM
In the 400th year of the commemoration of St. Josaphat’s martyrdom, his two relics, both first and second class, have been gifted to the ITI by a Viennese.
St Josaphat was born in Volodymyr Ukraine in 1580. He later become a Basilian monk and then Archbishop of Polotsk. His religious life and episcopal ministry were characterised by his longing for unity in the Church, especially between Orthodox and Catholic Christians. He was martyred in 1623 in Vitebsk, Belarus. In 1916, St Josaphat’s body was brought to Vienna from Bila Pidlaska and placed in the Church of St Barbara. There the body remained until the end of WW2 when on the eve of the Soviet Occupation of Vienna, it was transported to Rome and enshrined in the altar of St Basil in St Peter's Basilica.
The ITI would like to thank the donor of the relics and all benefactors who support the community!
Saint Heiromartyr Josaphat, pray to God for us!
