From managing business operations and running her own skincare startup in Ukraine to mastering software engineering in Vienna — Kateryna’s journey is a masterclass in resilience and determination. 💼➡️💻

Driven by the need for maximum flexibility to rebuild her professional life in Austria, she chose 42 Vienna. And she didn't just succeed — she made history with us: Kateryna is officially our 100th student to complete the Common Core curriculum! 💯🏆

This is a massive milestone for both her and our entire community. We couldn't be prouder of her growth, grit, and the peer-to-peer spirit she embodies.

From zero coding experience to building Python scripts in just 5 days! 🤯🐍

Last week’s Discovery Piscine – Open to ALL was an absolute blast! We welcomed a fantastic group of curious minds to our campus, including many of our own 42 Vienna students who jumped right into the experience to learn and code together with the newcomers. 🙌

Towards the end of the week, we had a very special highlight: an amazing keynote by Liad Magen! He talked about why we still need software developers in the age of AI. Our participants absolutely loved it, and it gave everyone the perfect boost of motivation for the final days! 🚀🔥

Together, they tackled the terminal, mastered loops, and discovered the true power of teamwork. No teachers, no boring lectures, just pure collaborative learning.

Shoutout to everyone who brought their energy, to Liad for the amazing talk, and to our incredible community. You officially unlocked your inner coder! 🔓💻

Our campus was buzzing yesterday during a very special Pizza Lunch! We were thrilled to welcome Andreas Gschwenter, CIO of Raiffeisen Bank International and Chairman of 42 Austria, along with Nicol Weghofer, a true 42 Vienna legend. Nicol was the first female student to finish our Common Core curriculum and is now already working as a Software Engineer at RBI while tackling her advanced modules! 🚀🦾

Once the pizza boxes were open, the questions started rolling in. The discussion centered heavily around AI, its impact on software development, and how students can best prepare for an evolving tech landscape. 📈⌨️

Seeing our community engage directly with industry leaders and advanced peers is what our peer to peer learning spirit is all about. Thank you Andreas and Nicol for an unforgettable afternoon and for sharing your insights with us! ✨

The 42 Vienna family is reaching new heights! We are beyond excited to announce our newest group of Transcenders who just leveled up and finished the core program: Marton, Kevin, Matthias, and Tom! 🎮🔥

Conquering the Transcendence project is a massive achievement that requires a lot of grit, teamwork, and late night coding sessions. For their final project, this team decided to go all in and take on the complex challenge of building a real time multiplayer poker game.

Core curriculum: COMPLETED! ✅ The future looks incredibly bright and we know they are going to do amazing things. 🚀

Our students turned out in great numbers last Wednesday for an incredible Knowledge Sharing session with Peter! With 15 years of experience in the industry, Peter gave us a front row seat to the power of the Rust programming language. 🚀🦾

The workshop focused on how Rust is revolutionizing systems programming by making it safer and more efficient compared to traditional C. Our community explored real world vulnerabilities and learned how Rust prevents them through smarter API design and security features.

Seeing so many of our students actively participating and asking deep technical questions is what peer to peer learning is all about. Thank you Peter for an inspiring afternoon and for showing us what is possible in the open source world! ✨
