🌟🚀 From quantum research to entrepreneurial ideas: This was the Quantum Innovation Lab (Qilab) Demo Day 2026!

💡 This year, 20 quantum and physics researchers from 12 institutions joined Qilab, exploring the entrepreneurial potential of their research. Following an intensive process involving idea development, team formation and concept refinement, six quantum technology ideas progressed to the Demo Day stage.

🏆 Congratulations to Florian Krieger, Florian Hirner and Martin Ma**er, who received the Best Pitch Award for their technology!

💭 Another highlight: Lee Rozema, a Qilab alumnus and the founder of Qraken Quantum, shared insights from his entrepreneurial journey. This was followed by a special Q&A with John Martinis, 2025 Nobel Laureate in Physics and the co-founder and CTO of Qolab.

🫶 A big thank you to everyone who contributed to another inspiring edition of Qilab. We are already looking forward to the next one!
