#6 worldwide in Recreation & Leisure research 🌍

Modul University Vienna has been recognized by ScholarGPS across several fields, including #6 worldwide in Recreation & Leisure, #3 in Tourism in Europe, #25 in Supply Chain, and #24 in Exploratory Data Analysis.

This achievement reflects years of focused research, international collaboration, and the work of MU researchers contributing to tourism, leisure, supply chain, and data-driven research.

Congratulations to our lecturers, researchers, and academic community whose work continues to strengthen MU’s global visibility and impact!

"How international is your University?"

At MU, the answer is not just found in the countries our students come from, but in the moments where they come together to share their cultures, traditions, flavours, music, and stories.

That is exactly what International Day is all about. Each semester, Modulians transform our campus into a celebration of the cultures that make our community so unique, while also supporting a meaningful cause.

This edition, we raised over €1,000 for Teach for Austria, showing once again that our community spirit goes far beyond campus. 💛
This semester’s top three countries were:

🥈 Austria
🥉 Bulgaria

Congratulations to Georgia for taking first place, and thank you to everyone who cooked, danced, donated, supported, and celebrated with us. This is what being part of a multicultural community should feel like. 🎉

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Chris Ball to Modul University Vienna to discuss potential partnership opportunities with Quinnipiac University in the United States.

The conversation explored study abroad opportunities, as well as further ways to connect faculty, staff, and students across both institutions. We look forward to seeing how this dialogue may develop and create new international opportunities for our university communities.
