Beim diesjährigen Angewandte Festival präsentiert die Hufak die Ausstellung the splinter in your eye is the best magnifying glass, kuratiert vom עמלعملAMAL, einem palästinensisch-israelischen Kollektiv von Studierenden und Absolvent*innen der Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Al-Quds/Jerusalem.

At this year’s Angewandte Festival, Hufak is hosting the splinter in your eye is the best magnifying glass, an exhibition curated by עמלعملAMAL, a Palestinian-Israeli collective of students and graduates of Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Al-Quds/Jerusalem. The exhibition is organised in collaboration with the student union of Bezalel, currently led by a coalition of students from Standing Together, a Palestinian-Jewish movement struggling for equality, peace, social justice and Palestinian rights.
The exhibition will be open to the public from July 1st-4th, and will be accompanied by three events featuring the curators as well as participating artists from Jerusalem/Al-Quds.

We are aware of the complexity and sensitivity of the topics addressed by this exhibition. That is why members of Hufak will be present throughout the exhibition and are available for questions and discussions.

See our other post for more information on this collaboration.

- Non-Human Heroes -
Curated by Nicole Aebersold & Mehrta Shirzadian

A program of experimental films drifting away from traditional, human-centered narratives, giving space to animals, plants, images, and spaces. Not as metaphors, but as quiet agents that observe, adapt, and reshape.

This is the 5th screening at Fortuna Kino organized by hufak.

Join us on June 18th, 8pm at Fortuna Kino, Favoritenstraße 147, 110 Vienna

Look at all these beautiful people. 🥹❤️

Yesterday was all about showing up for each other. We took over the Ringstrasse to remind everyone that our education and our future aren’t up for negotiation.
