Established in 2003 by Ambassador Ronald Lauder, Lauder Business School (LBS) is an international, business-focused University of Applied Sciences located in Vienna, Austria. From the outset, LBS blended American and European educational methods to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded business education. Our programs are designed to provide students with practical and contemporary business edu

cation, equipping them with modern tools and know-how to invoke innovation, drive changes, and excel in any challenging business environment. LBS is fully accredited in the European Union by the relevant Austrian national authorities (AQ Austria) and in the United States by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Nationally, LBS ranked 2nd in Vienna and 4th in Austria in 2022 and 2023 by the independent INDUSTRIEMAGAZIN for academic excellence and the high employment rate of our students. Additionally, the independent Peregrine tests place LBS programs in the top 10% globally among ACBSP-accredited universities. Students participate in research, observation, and experimentation, stimulating creative solutions to real challenges. Through collaboration and teamwork in LBS’s international environment, students develop cross-cultural communication skills. LBS offers the following programs:

California just got closer. 🌴🇺🇸

LBS has signed a new Student Exchange Agreement with California State University, Channel Islands. Eligible students can study there for a semester or a full year, and pay tuition only to LBS.

✔️ No additional tuition at CSUCI
✔️ Credits count toward your LBS degree
✔️ Full academic semester or full year
✔️ Open to eligible Bachelor's and Master's students

No double fees. Real credits. Real California.

🤖 "AI is not about technology. It is about people. It’s about mindset."

That was the argument made on Monday evening at our LBS panel discussion, and it is one worth sitting with.

We had two practitioners in the room: Dr. Balázs Lóránd from Aumovio (autonomous driving, AI strategy) and Prof. Donald Baillie from Accenture Vienna (risk consulting, AI ethics). An hour of unfiltered conversation on what AI actually means for careers, companies, and Europe.

🎯 The takeaway that landed hardest: the professionals who will create value are not the ones who know the most tools. They are the ones who combine deep domain expertise with genuine AI literacy and who keep learning when the tools change again next year.

From LBS to the frontlines of U.S. antitrust law. 🎓⚖️

Ilia Kapelevich (Class of 2018) went from studying International Business Administration at LBS to a PhD in Economics at the University of Florida. Today he shapes the economic arguments behind major competition cases at Coherent Economics in Chicago.

It all started in a diverse classroom in Vienna.

🎓 LBS students just delivered, big time.

Our IML Master's students completed a consultancy project with Speech Processing Solutions, developing a global marketing campaign to position dictation technology for the next generation of healthcare professionals.

They dug deep: analyzing market trends, clinical workflows, and tech adoption across regions, then presented their findings directly to the CEO, CTO, and Marketing, Product and Sales team. The response? "Next year, very gladly again." 🙌
