👏 Chapeau! Another plaque on the wall and may they keep coming!

Co2ol Catalyst is the latest team to graduate from our incubation program after more than two successful years. The spin-off, co-founded by Christian Weilach, Karin Föttinger and Francesco Valentini, is developing a novel catalyst technology that converts industrial CO₂ emissions into methanol, reducing carbon emissions and supporting more sustainable chemical production. 🧪

May this plaque be a reminder of the great journey we shared and just one milestone of many more to come. Can’t wait to see where you go next!

Don’t just take our word for it, hit play: Packed room, high energy, zero empty seats.⚡

Our latest Engines of Innovation masterclass „Setting up Research Partnerships with Industry“ brought TU Wien researchers together to crack one big question: how do you turn great science into real industry impact? 🔬🤝

Huge thanks to Viktoria Ilger for showing us how to speak the „language of industry“ without losing scientific integrity. Have a wonderful summer and we hope to see you all back in fall! 🙌

☀️ The TUW i²c team wishes you an inspiring summer break!

A vibrant semester of studying and innovation lies behind us, time to pause, recharge, and perhaps let one or two bright ideas quietly take shape. Thank you for your interest, your enthusiasm, and the projects we’ve shared along the way.

Behind the scenes, we’re already getting ready for what’s next: preparations for our new incubator batch are underway, with onboarding kicking off in September. So if you’ve got an idea brewing this summer, keep it close as it might just be perfect timing.

Cologne calling and one TUW i²c spin-off is leading the way

Big congrats to Klared, one of just 10 hand-picked start-ups invited to present at the Cologne Startup Summer Night on 8 July! 🛫

📅 8 July 2026 · Cologne, Stadtgarten

The team earned its spot at our ESI Demo Day on 22 June, and now they’re taking their idea from Vienna to one of the Rhineland’s biggest networking nights: start-ups, companies, press, politics, all in one place. 🌍

Made possible by KölnBusiness, the Gateway Excellence Start-up Center (University of Cologne), Web de Cologne and TU Wien i²c. 🙌

🐉🚣DrachenbootCup 2026: a tale of paddles, pride… and a little plot twist.

The TUW i²c team better known as i²c Startuppers usually turns water into trophies.🏆This year? Well… let’s just say the dragon boat had opinions. All the action, the near-misses and the questionable rowing technique are in the video, so hit play and judge for yourself. 🎬

Big congrats to winner team Explosions-Matrosen , what a performance!

Big thanks to the entire TU Wien alumni club for organizing the 11th edition of this gloriously chaotic, splashy, team-spirit-fueled tradition.

See you next year and yes, we’re coming back for that trophy.🔥
