How can we use AI well in Adult Education? ...

🤖 What does it actually take to use AI well in adult education?

Probably less “learn every new tool” and more know what you’re doing with the ones you use.

It means understanding where AI can help and where it can get things wrong. 💡 It means writing better prompts, checking outputs instead of trusting them automatically, spotting bias, protecting learner data, and knowing when human judgement has to take over. 👀

It also means thinking differently about teaching itself: how we design activities, how we assess learning, how we support different learners, and how we choose tools that are genuinely useful rather than simply new. 🎓

And at organisational level, it means having clear rules, sensible approval processes and a shared idea of what responsible use looks like. 🛡️

That is what sits behind our Top 10 AI Skills for Adult Education Staff: practical skills for using AI with more confidence, care and purpose. 🚀

Optimism in education is more than a positive mindset – it is about believing in the potential of every learner and creating schools where everyone can thrive.

When teachers believe in their ability to support students, and when schools develop a shared confidence in their capacity to overcome challenges, this creates the foundation for academic optimism.

Through the Erasmus+ project OPE – Optimistic Pathways in Education, we explore how schools can strengthen well-being, self-efficacy and inclusive learning through a whole-school approach.
Together, we are working towards learning environments built on trust, confidence and the belief that positive change is possible.

How can career guidance and adult learning better recognise and build on the strengths of neurodivergent people?

This is the question at the heart of CAN. Together with partners from across Europe, we will work on more inclusive approaches to counselling, career guidance and upskilling and reskilling.

The project will bring together neurodivergent adults, guidance and training professionals, HR professionals, SMEs and other stakeholders to develop practical approaches that focus on strengths, individual needs and opportunities rather than deficits.

We are happy to be part of this journey – and there is much more to come!

🌞 UNITE Sommerabschluss am 24.09. 🌞

Am 24. September laden wir zum UNITE Summer Closing ein – einem Abend für alle, die sich für berufliche Integration nach der Flucht interessieren.

Viele Menschen aus der Ukraine bauen sich in Österreich ein neues Leben auf. Der Weg in den Arbeitsmarkt ist dabei oft herausfordernd. UNITE zeigt: Wirklich wirksam wird Unterstützung erst dann, wenn sie individuell ist – mit persönlichem Coaching, Mentoring und Begleitung, die auf jede einzelne Lebenssituation eingeht.

Gemeinsam feiern wir die Schritte, die bereits gelungen sind, und die beruflichen Perspektiven, die jetzt entstehen.
