WorldSkills Australia is a dynamic national organisation which has been actively promoting vocational skills excellence since 1981. WorldSkills Australia’s program of competitions is aligned to National Training Packages. WorldSkills Australia competitions operate on a two-year cycle with a national competition following the year after regional competitions are held. National competition winners,

if eligible, can become members of Team Australia (Skillaroos) and proceed to the WorldSkills International Competition. WorldSkills Queensland (WSQ) is the state office of WorldSkills Australia. Based in Brisbane, the office manages the five WorldSkills regions in Queensland: North Qld, Central Qld, East Coast, South West and Brisbane.
