Meet Josh đź‘‹

One of our valued Leading Hands here at I&R Electrical Solutions.

With a strong commercial background, Josh plays a key role in keeping projects running smoothly and up to I&R’s high standards of safety, precision, and quality.

Since joining the team almost four years ago, Josh has grown into a standout tradesman and a true leader on site. Known for his keen eye for detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to going the extra mile for both clients and the project, he continues to set the benchmark for what quality electrical work looks like.

Josh’s great working relationships with builders and fellow trades make him a trusted face on every site - leading by example and embodying everything I&R stands for.

When he’s not on site, you’ll find Josh out enjoying his other passions, motor racing and 4WD adventures

The boys are back at Adams Oval Changerooms Upgrade in Salisbury!

With the demolition and strip-out now complete, we’re well into first fix, planning and installing new lighting, cabling, power distribution and an upgraded switchboard that will support the facility long-term.

Our team is working closely with Beek and the council to ensure every part of the electrical install is designed for reliability, safety, and future growth. From lighting layouts to power requirements, we’re making sure the changerooms will meet the needs of players, staff and the wider community for years to come.

It’s always rewarding to be part of sporting club upgrades, helping deliver modern and functional facilities for the local community.

We’re excited to keep the momentum going and will share more progress soon. ⚡️

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT ⚡️

Working alongside Pascale Construction, our team recently delivered a full electrical upgrade for a local retirement home, bringing new life to the facility with modernised offices, reception, nurse station, and gym.

The project also included a 28-room extension, complete with new common areas designed for comfort and connection.

Our scope covered electrical, security, nurse call, and communications systems, ensuring the facility is brighter, more efficient, and better connected for both residents and staff.

Another quality outcome from the I&R team - powering better living through smarter electrical solutions. 🙌

Meet Zak đź‘‹

He’s one of our dedicated 4th-year apprentices, soon to become a fully qualified tradesman at the start of 2026!

Zak has been with I&R Electrical Solutions for most of his apprenticeship, growing and developing alongside the team every step of the way.

From learning the ropes on-site to taking ownership of his own areas of work, he’s shown strong commitment, skill, and a genuine passion for the trade.

Whether it’s tackling complex installs, helping train newer apprentices, or keeping morale high on site, Zak’s always up for the challenge.

We’re proud to see how far he’s come, and even more excited to see what’s next as he steps into his role as a qualified electrician.

We loved helping our electrical wholesaler friends

The team were on site in Salisbury North to install a large flood light to the shop front - a solid upgrade that’s both practical and impressive.

Not only will the frontage now be beautifully lit after dark, but the new setup also adds an extra layer of safety and security for the team and their customers.

We completed an office refurbishment at Adelaide University, upgrading study spaces, kitchen areas, offices, toilets, and common areas.

Our scope covered modern lighting, power, data, and communications installations, creating a functional and efficient space for staff and students alike.
