Last week, we met on Wednesday to discuss Another Day in the Colony by Chelsea Watego! It was an excellent meeting, and this is a book all of us enjoyed and would recommend!

Come along to one of our future meetings for good discussions and free snacks! We tend to meet at 5pm most Wednesdays in Nexus10 UB34 (excluding weeks we run movie nights!)

The Adelaide Uni Book Club and Q***r Collective are collaborating to bring you a Special Q***r Book Club in June, Enclave by Claire G. Coleman!! To celebrate, we're giving away a copy of the book!!!

To enter, you must be a currently enrolled AU student, follow both the Q***r Collective and the Book Club on Instagram, and comment PRIDE on this post. One entry per person, draw closes midnight 24th May, and the winner will be randomly selected! Ensure that your Instagram DMs are open so we can contact you!

We will be meeting to discuss Enclave by Claire G. Coleman at 5pm Wednesday 24th June in Nexus10 UB34 (there will also be a virtual option via the Book Club's discord for those who cannot attend in-person).

Happy Semester 1!

Here's our upcoming schedule for Book Club for the first 5 weeks of the Semester!

All our meetings this year will be 5pm Wednesday in Nexus10 room UB34 and over Discord, unless stated otherwise (such as movie nights).

March Book Announcements! We will be reading Theory and Practice by Michelle de Kretser, and Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi in March for our General Literature month!

Theory and Practice: 5pm Wednesday 11th March (Location TBD)
Before the Coffee Gets Cold: 5pm Wednesday 25th March (Location TBD)

We will be doing other things in March as well, so watch this space for further updates!
