As part of their recent Reflection Day, our Year 10 students assembled 200 vital Birthing Kits for the Birthing Kit Foundation Australia (BKFA) – a cause that also happens to be close to the heart of Old Scholar and mum of five, Teresa Palmer (Class of 2003, Fitzpatrick)… an official Patron of BKFA.

Join Teresa and Mercedes College in support of BKFA – more information online:

Our 2026 students and staff recently returned from our annual trek to the Mimili community in the APY Lands, where they caught up with Old Scholar Zedekiah Fielding (Class of 2025, Fitzpatrick).

One of Zed’s legacies at Mercedes College is our Reconciliation Round Uniform, which he designed in 2024.

Our Open winter sport teams wear this uniform for Reconciliation Round each year - what a great way to remember Zed's time with us.
