Mabrook, Sarah Colic!

From over 2,100 essays submitted across more than 100 countries, our very own Sarah has been awarded the High Honors Award at the Spring 2026 Lumiere Scholars Essay Award — along with a $1,250 scholarship to join the prestigious Lumiere Research Scholar Program.

She'll be working 1-on-1 with PhD mentors from Harvard, Stanford, and Oxford — producing research that can be published, recognised, and celebrated worldwide.
This is what it looks like when a student from our community steps onto a global stage. We couldn't be more proud.

May Allah bless her journey and make it a source of khayr for her and all those she inspires.

Alhamdullilah It was a privilege to welcome distinguished guests to Iqra College last Thursday for the official opening of Stage 3 of the Uthman Building.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Hon. Louise Miller Frost, Member for Boothby, alongside our AISSA representatives, funding body partners, and School Board members for joining us on this special occasion.

We also wish to acknowledge and thank all those whose support made this project possible. Most importantly, we thank our Iqra community, our families, staff, and supporters — whose trust and dedication continue to inspire everything we build. This space was created for you.

House Colour Day brought out the best of our students' creative outfits, house pride, and that unmistakable Iqra spirit that makes this school so special.

From the boldest fits to the most creative combinations, every student showed up representing their house with heart. And through it all, they were dressed with dignity and grounded in values.
