As part of their Arabic learning, Year 10 students took part in a cultural cooking activity that brought their classroom learning to life.
Through this hands-on experience, students connected Arabic vocabulary with real-life situations, explored cultural traditions, and developed their teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
Students prepared for the activity by practising their Arabic reading and memorising the ingredients in Arabic. Students earned participation through preparation and successful completion of the assessment, encouraging them to take responsibility for their learning and celebrate their progress.
The activity gave students a meaningful opportunity to apply their Arabic skills beyond the classroom while building confidence, cooperation, and cultural appreciation.
