2024 graduate Nicolas Saccardo is back teaching with us for Term 3, in Abstract and Experimental Sketchbook Drawing.

Students will work through exercises each week with guidance from Nicolas and be introduced to artists who explore themes related to keeping sketchbooks. This class is suitable for students at any level, and those without prior knowledge are encouraged to join.

Exposure by Branch Nebula | Presented by Vitalstatistix

Tarps down, goggles on and gloves off. Two women in their 50s bathe in deep pits of domestic detritus to investigate the body’s relationship to systems of power.

Slicked with oil and lit by microwave buzz, Exposure is an ugly-beautiful piece by acclaimed performance artists, Latai Taumoepeau and Mirabelle Wouters, who upend endless struggles of everyday expectation.

First developed at Adhocracy 2024, Vitalstatistix is thrilled to present the Adelaide premiere of this incredible work, straight after their runs in Melbourne at RISING 2026 (as part of the inaugural Australian Dance Biennale), and Sydney at PACT Theatre.

Join us on Tuesday 2 June, 6-8pm for the opening of group exhibition Fragmentary State. Opening remarks provided by Dr Lee-Anne Hall, Curatorial Director, Jam Factory.

Fragmentary State explores the versatile, illusionistic properties of clay and ceramic processes. Featuring work by Em Frank & Miles Dunne, Honor Freeman, Kerryn Levy, and Mark Valenzuela.

This exhibition is curated by Chiranjika Grasby, ACSA graduate (BVA 2019) and Nexus Arts Gallery Manager.
