The University of Adelaide MBA Alumni Association (MBAAA) supports its members and Business School by creating valuable business links, presenting guest speaker forums and professional development seminars, and by putting members in touch with each other. With circa 3000 members, the University of Adelaide MBA Alumni Association (MBAAA) supports its members and the Business School in various ways: by creating valuable business links; presenting guest speaker forums and professional development seminars; and by putting members in touch with each other, the School and the business community. As of then, $500 has been awarded annually by the MBAAA President at the Ayers House prizewinners ceremony. In 2009, the MBAAA President introduced a Premier MBA Business Cocktail forum at the National Wine Centre. Four business panel speakers being Directors and CEO's with MBA degrees were asked a series of questions from the MBAAA President and the floor - with wines and canapes assisting later networking efforts. The event was a huge sell-out success and the MBAAA Executive Committee would like to offer this function as their signature event on an annual basis. The MBAAA builds links between the business community and its members by:
organising premier events and corporate sponsorship helping organisations identify suitable students and graduates for jobs informing the business community of the Business School's programs presenting at MBA Information Night seminars supporting teams participating in business competitions and awards including "E-challenge" and the Enterprise Workshop matching organisational issues with the research activities of MBA students
