G'day Everyone!:)

Welcome to the semester of 2019!!

To our brand new batch of Human Movement students, This will be your platform to connect with your fellow colleagues, job opportunities and many more. Share it with you mates and get everyone connected onto it!

To our returning students, We hope you're on track since returning last week for the first week of the semester;)

Here is our very first Job Opportunity for 2019 for anyone to apply:

1)Looking for a group instructor to take 6 classes per week. They will be kickboxing classes & HIIT classes.

2)Times will be 5:15pm until 7:15pm on Monday’s, Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s & Thursday’s. Pay rate will be $30 per class once they can take it themselves.

3)Male or female is fine. No experience required, you will everything you need to know about running group classes.

Character traits we are looking for:
- Bubbly & energetic
- Passionate about fitness

It will be great if the potential candidate is able to start ASAP �

G’Day HM Students!!
Hope you’re having a great mid-week and build up towards to the final months ahead for the year.
We’re not just stopping yet. We’ve got more opportunities available for you to help build up your experience and gain the knowledge within the gym industry!!

HTFU Fitness Adelaide based in Royal Park are looking for trainers to join the team. There are heaps of group fitness classes on a weekly basis consisting of kick-boxing for fitness, strength and HIIT too.

The gym makes up 95% of female members, of which they are between ages of 18-30 years old, looking to lose weight get healthy.
Good news is you don’t have to have the experience to work for them as you will be trained. All you need to have is the willingness to learn and grow with the industry, including personality traits that will be very important: Open minded, willing to learn, easy to get along with for my members

Furthermore, there are bigger opportunities for those who wish to expand their personal training client base as they have members coming through seeking for one. You can grow your own PT portfolio at the gym & there is a special deal so you don’t pay any rent. You can run a few classes instead of paying any rent. So it’s no risk at all. Rates for Classes start at $25 per class & will go up once the trainer is confident.

You will only need to be qualified with a Cert 3 and 4 in Fitness. However, Having a Human Movement qualification is a bonus!!

Hope you're all been fired up the last couple of weeks since the semester started:)

We've got more great news opening up opportunities for Human Movement students wanting to gain more experience in the industry.
Here are the details:

Flinders Park Football Club is looking for 1-2 Sports Trainers for 2018 season.

This is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills from our previous trainers and head trainer who is an experienced and fully qualified Physiotherapist. This position involves taping, massage, general first aid and some injury/rehabilitation advice. All trainers are required to attend at least 1 training session per week.
Working hours are limited and are great for university students as most hours are on the weekend.
This is a PAID POSITION based on games worked only. Games begin in April on Saturday and Sunday.

Position Description:
Involves taping, massage and general first aid. Work starts in mid-March with games held on Saturdays. Attendance at training isn’t required unless you would like more taping practice!

If you're into soccer and have a desire and passion for nurturing and developing athletes in a semi-pro club, then this position might just fit the bill:

3 SPORTS TRAINER POSITIONS AVAILABLE!
Marion Physiotherapy are looking to employ 3 university students (mainly human movement) to work as sports trainers with West Torrens Birkalla Soccer Club for the 2018 season!

It's a great paid opportunity to get some hands-on experience working along side physiotherapists in a fast-paced sports environment.

Free training will be provided by Marion Physios prior to starting the role. This would be a great addition to your CV or physio masters application!

The role will include:
- strapping
- massage
- first aid
- Attending x1 two hour weeknight training session
- Attending x3 hours of matches on weekends (Mostly Saturdays).
Start date will be mid-February.

Hope your 2018 has been going well and your goals are progessively being achieved.
Well we've got a new job opportunity lined up for you guys if you have what it takes.

Payneham Norwood union football club (SAAFL Div 1) is looking for a sports trainer for the 2018 season. Trainers are required on Saturday for game day and min. one training night a week (Monday, Tuesday or Thursday).

It is highly rewarding being part of the club and you will get an opportunity to learn a fair bit from the club trainers and physio too. Remuneration is available as well.
