ICHM General Assembly - T3 2026 🎓

A great opportunity for our students to come together at the ICHM General Assembly for T3 2026 and connect directly with our CEO and Provost.

The Assembly created a valuable space for students to share their experiences, ask questions, exchange ideas and hear directly from our leadership team.

Beyond the classroom, conversations like these help our students feel heard, connected and supported throughout their study journey, while giving them a voice in shaping the student experience at ICHM.

It was fantastic to see our students actively engage, speak openly and make the most of the opportunity to connect with our leadership.

Real-world industry insights in action! 🍸

Our Gastronomy students recently had the opportunity to learn from industry professionals during a special class led by Lecturer Niels Sloos, featuring guest speakers and judges Christopher Assidao and Sahil Rane, Food & Beverage Supervisors from Crowne Plaza Adelaide ( Plaza Adelaide (Adelaide, SA, Australia)).

A big thank you to Christopher and Sahil for sharing their expertise, providing valuable feedback, and inspiring our students as they continue to develop the skills needed for successful careers in hospitality.

From student to Team Leader 👏

Meet Ian Kim, an ICHM Bachelor of Business in Hospitality Management student who turned his Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experience into a thriving hospitality career.

After completing two years of WIL at Peppers Waymouth Hotel in Adelaide, Ian was offered a permanent part-time position and promoted to F&B Team Leader while continuing his studies.

"Having 5-star hotel experience on my resume has been a real advantage when it comes to job searches and interviews."

Through ICHM's industry-focused curriculum and hands-on WIL program, students gain real-world experience, build professional networks, and develop the confidence to lead.

Congratulations, Ian, on this incredible achievement! 🎉
