St Albert’s College Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Foley as Head of College and CEO, commencing 2 February 2026.

Stephen brings extensive experience in Catholic university colleges and a deep understanding of the distinctive contribution residential colleges make to students’ lives.

This appointment marks an important next chapter for the College, with a strong focus on resident care, the formation of students’ academic, professional, and spiritual lives, and leadership aligned with the Catholic mission of St Albert’s.

Stephen’s leadership will build upon the College's strong foundations, consolidating the good work underway while continuing to thoughtfully refresh College culture for the future.

With great sorrow, we acknowledge the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis.

A man of humility, compassion, and deep conviction, Pope Francis dedicated his life to serving others and calling the Church to a path of mercy, justice, and inclusion. His leadership reminded us all of the power of faith in action—of love for the poor, care for creation, and the dignity of every human being.

At St Albert’s College, we pause to reflect on his profound legacy and give thanks for his example of servant leadership. We pray for the Church, for all who mourn, and for the repose of his soul.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him.

Albies continues to thrive in 2021 as a connected community supporting young women and men in their journey through university. Our College remains a place where lasting friendships are formed and strengthened everyday.
