Recruitment for a new graduate Exercise Physiologist.
The clinic is a private small gym, clinical Pilates studio with a Physio that comes in once per week. We have a constant referral program from two doctor surgeries in Glen Innes, NDIS clients as weel as group classes and clinical Pilates classes.

Last week the sport science students had the opportunities to get their high-performance questions answered by the New Zealand NRL Warriors. Craig Twentyman head of athletic Performance and James Moran, Strength, conditioning and contact/wrestle coach was interviewed by Danika Newman via zoom on behalf of the UNE students.
The interviewed highlighted the importance of adapting your knowledge to ensure the best outcome for the client. As one glove doesn’t fit all. Whilst passion and determination are key attributes to achieving your desired goal.

In June/July 2020, UNE will be organising a 21 day international placement to the Maldives for exercise science/clinical exercise physiology students similar to that undertaken by students this year

This is an excellent opportunity to travel and apply the knowledge and skills from your degree to directly benefit the local community through a range of different activities. UNE will be looking to send ten students with two supervisors with funding available through the New Columbo Plan and OS-Help. This year we will be prioritising applications as follows:

Students completing EXSC322 in 2020
Students whom have completed EXSC322 and have a listed unit still to complete
Students whom have completed EXSC260 and have a listed unit still to complete
Students whom are enrolled in the Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology within their final year of study

Hello everyone!
We hope you are all have had a great year and getting prepared for Christmas. As the end of year draws near, we are looking at expanding EXSA family for next year! Last week we had our first study and movie night gathering and it was a great hit! Great to see some new faces!
Tonight kicks off the second lot of study and movie night. Treat your self to a movie night after your intensive classes at the sport UNE lab tonight at 5pm.

Just some house keeping rules. This event is an alcohol free zone. As this is Sport UNE policy. Please don't bring your own alcohol drinks to the event thank you.

This evening will bring together a variety of ESSA professionals providing the story and pathway to their chosen career within our industry.
