Share your congregation’s story! ✍🏻

On 15 August 2026, Trinity College Queensland will host a history symposium celebrating “(Almost) Fifty Years of the Uniting Church in Queensland.”
The day forms part of Dr Rachel Krohn’s unit, History of Christianity in Australia, connecting classroom learning with the lived history of congregations across Queensland. The symposium will include lectures and conversations on multiculturalism, the UAICC, theological education in the Uniting Church in Queensland, and more.

As part of the symposium, congregations are invited to prepare a banner, church quilt, artwork, or visual display sharing the story of worship, ministry, and community life at their site.

Displays do not need to be professionally designed — they simply need to tell your congregation’s story. Congregations are also asked to provide a short 100–250 word description to accompany their display.

Interested in taking part?
Please contact Rachel Krohn at [email protected] or Belinda on (07) 3377 9950.
