Nominations for the 2027 Flinders Law Students’ Association Elections are happening soon!

The elections will determine the Committee of the Flinders Law Students’ Association for the 2027 term.

Nominations: 12 October 2026 to 16 October 2026

Voting: 20 October 2026 (at 5pm) to 27 October 2026 (at 5pm)

The positions available for election are:

🟣 Director of Activities and Wellbeing**
🟣 Director of Careers and Education**
🟣 Director of Marketing**
🟣 Director of Competitions**

* President: To nominate for this position, a candidate must have previously officially served in one of the Executive positions of the Flinders Law Students’ Association General Committee.

** Other Executive Positions: To nominate for this position, a candidate must have previously been a member of the Flinders Law Students’ Association General Committee.

Nominations will be conducted through BigPulse.

You will nominate yourself for the position(s) you wish to contest by completing the nomination form using the link that will be provided to all law students via their University email when nominations open.

Candidates must be admitted to and enrolled in at least one 4.5 unit topic for the relevant academic year, in a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice, Laws and Legal Practice (Honours), Laws – Legal Practice Entry, Laws – Legal Practice Entry (Honours), Bachelor of Laws, Diploma of Laws, Juris Doctor, or a variation of the above streams (at the discretion of the current Committee of the Association) to be eligible to run and vote in the election.

Are you ready to get practice at examining witnesses, a vital tool for any future legal professional? Held over the holidays, students can take advantage of their break by developing their practical legal skills in FLSA’s annual witness examination competition and prepare for real world practice.

Held at Festival Tower in the City Campus, the preliminary round will be on 28 September, followed by the Semi-Final and Final Rounds on 30 September.
