FUMSS is the representative of the student body for Medical Science Students at Flinders University. We are responsible for the organisation of degree related events, but more importantly are responsible for assisting in the integration of new and current students into university life. Our aim is to ensure that existing students are offered all possible opportunities to improve their employability
skills, networking skills, social skills and leadership skills, along with making university life more interesting and enjoyable. We are open to all students, however, particularly those from other faculties who may be interested in undertaking postgraduate medicine or transferring into related degrees into the school of medicine or would just like to widen their networks. We have multiple members on the committee who are at different stages of their degree with each having an idea of a different career path, so believe that we are well equipped to best support students in their endeavours through the Bachelor of Medical Science degree in particular.
