A feasibility study exploring new ways of managing neck and back pain after road traffic crash or workplace injury  in Western Australia

Perth-based Physios: If you are working alongside patients who are suffering from whiplash and/or back pain from a vehicle accident within the last 6 months, they may be eligible to join our clinical trial funded by Insurance Commission of Western Australia.

The project, exploring how to promote a full recovery through integrated care provided by physiotherapists and psychologists, is led by Professor and Specialist PT Peter O’Sullivan and supported by a team of researchers and health professionals from Curtin University, The University of Queensland and University of Sydney.

Did you know that about 50% of people with whiplash (neck pain) get better, but the other half don't fully recover? Our research is trying to uncover better ways of helping people hurt in traffic accidents so that more people recover fully.
