Worldskills for TAFESA Berri campus cookery students was held on Thursday. The judges were impressed by the high quality of the dishes the school students presented with scores very high and close. Congratulations to all the young cooks who participated, and the medal winners Nakita, Yasmin and Annalise.

Congratulations to Alanah and Angelina on being finalists in the 2025 Riverland and Mallee Vocational Awards. Either of these ladies would have been worthy winners. A special congratulations to Angelina on winning the School-based apprentice of the year award! Shout out to their chefs and host employers for their dedication to training the next generation of Riverland chefs!

Never ceases to amaze me how many variations of food presentation our students come up with! The brief, 1 serve lemon mousse filled meringue sphere, raspberry coulis, lemon curd, blueberry sorbet and 1 serve of passionfruit bavarois, coulis, tempered chocolate and tuille.
