Centacare Community Services has asked us to identify & recruit approximately 30 people to become Support Workers in Moreton Bay Region, Brisbane North Region, and Logan - Gold Coast - Beaudesert regions.

If you are new to the industry and DO NOT hold relevant qualifications, Care College (Horizon2 RTO 40932) are running a series of Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC30115) programs which will see your Vocational Placement completed with Centacare.
Centacare are looking to recruit students as Support Workers on completion of their qualification.
Employment is not guaranteed
Your Vocational Placement will provide you with an opportunity to show the employer your motivation, professionalism and aptitude for the work.

Requirements include
• Prepared to attend classroom training sessions and complete homework as required
• A QLD licence and reliable car
• Ability to pass a Police and Blue Card check
• Be physically able to lift, shift and move
• Be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
• Be prepared to complete a First Aid certificate (we do not include this in the program)
• Prepared to get a Flu Shot (and be able to provide evidence of this)

Eligible students may be able to access funding from the QLD Government under Certificate 3 Guarantee funding.
We provide courses for Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability and Early Childhood. Graduates will be recommended to vacancies.
