- THE EMPLOYER / OPPORTUNITIES
The program is sponsored by one of the largest Community Services employers in South East QLD .

The program is designed for people who are not qualified and keen to study to become qualified carers.

- Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015)
Our Courses are available for students from these 3 regions:

GROUP 1 - (Woollongabba) Face-to-face Training Program (for Brisbane, Greater Brisbane region and surrounding suburb candidates) - Start date: 1st July 2021

GROUP 2 - (Caboolture) - Face-to-face Training Program (for Caboolture, Moreton Bay Region & Sunshine Coast candidates) - Start date: July 2021

GROUP 3 - (Daisy Hill) Face-to-face Training Hill Program (for Southern Brisbane, Browns Plains ,Logan, Beaudesert & Gold Coast candidates) - Start date: Late July 2021

WORK PLACEMENT is guaranteed and will be hosted at our employers' sites in your local region.

- THE JOBS -
REAL jobs are on offer at our employer's facilities across from Gold Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast, depending on your preferable areas as they have facilities in more than 200 locations across South East Queensland.

Centacare Community Services has asked us to identify & recruit approximately 30 people to become Support Workers in Moreton Bay Region, Brisbane North Region, and Logan - Gold Coast - Beaudesert regions.

If you are already qualified and hold the Certificate III in Individual Support you can apply directly for these opportunities with Centacare via their website: https://centacarebrisbane.net.au/jobs/
If you are new to the industry and DO NOT hold relevant qualifications, Care College (Horizon2 RTO 40932) are running a series of Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC30115) programs which will see your Vocational Placement completed with Centacare.

Centacare are looking to recruit students as Support Workers on completion of their qualification.

Employment is not guaranteed

Your Vocational Placement will provide you with an opportunity to show the employer your motivation, professionalism and aptitude for the work.

IF you are looking for:
- A new career in Community Services;
- Face to face training sessions;
- The opportunity to complete your Vocational Placement with an ethical industry leader who utilise this program as a key employment strategy,

Requirements include
• Prepared to attend classroom training sessions and complete homework as required
• A QLD licence and reliable car
• Ability to pass a Police and Blue Card check
• Be physically able to lift, shift and move
• Be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
• Be prepared to complete a First Aid certificate (we do not include this in the program)
• Prepared to get a Flu Shot (and be able to provide evidence of this)

Eligible students may be able to access funding from the QLD Government under Certificate 3 Guarantee funding.
