Support QUT GEMS’ efforts in the 2026 Mother’s Day Classic on Sunday, 10 May!

Together, we’ll be lacing up our running shoes and stepping forward for women’s cancer research — and we’d truly appreciate your support 🫶🏃‍♀️

We’re walking the talk and joining the Mother’s Day Classic to help raise vital funds and awareness for breast and ovarian cancer!

Tragically, every day in Australia, 63 people are diagnosed and 12 lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer.

There are still tickets available for purchase for the QUT GEMS Mother’s Day Classic Team, and that the event details are as follows:

When: Sunday May 10 2026
Time: 8:10 AM meetup for an 8:40 AM start
Course: 4km Walk
Where: Meet at the South Bank Cultural Forecourt

The QUT GEMS team is excited to be part of this meaningful cause, and there are still tickets available if you’d like to join us 🎟️💎

and that your QUT has a range of support services to help you achieve your best with access to free and confidential counselling and mental wellbeing services to help navigate stress, study pressures, and personal challenges.
