📣 AGM season starts today! From now until September 28, clubs all across campus will be buzzing with elections, optimism, and energy.
So why should you care?
AGMs are your main chance to step into a leadership role. These roles are formally recognised by the Uni with a digital leadership badge — a huge plus for your resume.
✅ Most AGMs come with free food + activities, so you’re not just sitting in a meeting.
✅ You get a direct say in how your student amenities fees are spent. Want more study sessions, competitions, or off-campus trips? This is where you influence what happens next year.
✅ By RSVPing (preferred so clubs can meet quorum!) and voting, you help keep your club alive and thriving. Just make sure you’re a paid member, and remember, clubs don’t accept new members within 2 weeks of their AGM.
