We are excited to announce one of the most popular segments of The Best Evidence, Better Care for Osteoarthritis symposium, the Saturday 8th of August practical workshops at La Trobe University, Melbourne.

These two acclaimed one hour workshops will begin with “Foot and ankle OA rehab and footwear/orthotic prescription” by the highly sought after clinicians Narelle Wyndow (podiatrist) and Natalie Collins (physiotherapist).

The follow up workshop will include the internationally renowned researchers and clinicians Mark Scholes, Josh Heerey and Joanne Kemp (physiotherapists) as they share their tips on “Advanced hip OA”.

As we draw nearer to the highly anticipated The Best Evidence, Better Care for Osteoarthritis symposium we are excited to announce the speaker lineup for the 2nd session: next generation care for OA in only two weeks time.

A composition of world leading specialists including Henning Bliddal (Rheumatologist), Josh Heerey, Ewa Roos and Adam Culvernor (Physiotherapists) and Kendall Brooks (Sports Physician) will discuss the future of OA management in the lower limb. Knee osteoarthritis is a common presentation in many athletes and active individuals, and although running with osteoarthritis is likely to be okay it is important to consider the biomechanical, running schedule and gym based exercises to support optimal outcomes.
