AFERC Expands to the Northern Territory!

We are excited to officially announce the opening of the Australasia Fire & Emergency Response College (AFERC) Darwin Training Facility.

While AFERC is certainly not new to the Northern Territory, having proudly supported a number of clients across the region for many years, the ongoing demand for local, high-quality emergency response training has led us to establish a permanent training facility in Darwin.

Our new facility allows us to deliver our nationally recognised training and specialist emergency response programs closer to industry, reducing travel costs and making quality training more accessible for organisations across the Northern Territory.

Our Darwin facility will deliver a comprehensive range of training, including:

👉 Live Fire Training featuring gas-fired props and Compartment Fire Behaviour Training (CFBT)
👉 Working at Heights
👉 Confined Space Entry & Rescue
👉 First Aid Training
👉 Mine Emergency Response training, including the Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
👉 Fire Safety and Emergency Response courses

In addition, we will be delivering our full suite of nationally recognised qualifications, including:

• Public Safety (Firefighting) qualifications
• Public Safety (Emergency Management) qualifications
• Emergency Response and Rescue qualifications

This expansion represents another significant milestone for AFERC as we continue to grow our national footprint and provide industry-leading training across Australia.

At AFERC, we pride ourselves on maintaining a diverse fleet of emergency response assets, including fire trucks and emergency response trailers.

We’re pleased to advise that one of our Light Attack Firefighting Utes has just come off a long-term contract and is now available for immediate hire - short or long term.
