Deakin University Sri Lankan Society This is the official page of the Deakin University Sri Lankan Society Sri Lankan social and cultural activities are appreciated worldwide.

The Deakin Sri Lankan Society, DSLS, is comprised of a vibrant community of Sri Lankans interested in interacting with fellow Sri Lankans, building friendships and keeping the Sri Lankan community strong and active at Deakin University. DSLS aims to unite all Sri Lankan students as well as provide them with the support they need for a smooth transition into uni life and living in Melbourne, whilst

allowing them to experience a little bit of home away from home. The society will be organizing events which aim to educate, promote cross-cultural friendships and celebrate Sri Lankan culture with various social activities that will be conducted to help members develop lasting friendships that will also open new educational and professional opportunities.
